Horse riding paradise on the Baltic coast

The village of Choczewo and surroundings is a real paradise for horse riders. The region marked out 8 horse riding trails. You can recognize the trails by red hooves painted on trees. On crossroads you will find information tables and signposts. There are several rest places with wooden benches and forest horse stables with beautiful names such as Stilo and Amphitheater.

Picturesque horse riding trails

In the commune of Choczewo several picturesque trails are marked out. The most interesting trails are the “Lake trail” (11 km) which runs around Lake Choczewskie.  The 8 km long “Reda Valley trail” runs mainly through beech forests. A very special route is the “Beach trail” (11.5 km) which leads you along beautiful quiet beaches around the little village of Lubiatowo. The “Heather trail” leads also to Lubiatowo. This very interesting nature trail runs along coastal sand dunes and through forests with heaths.

Other activities with horses

Visit the stud farm Ciekocinko, where you can see competitions in show jumping “Baltica Tour“. The Ciekocinko palace is also a beautiful hotel. The stable Pegasus in Reda and horse stable “Rysiówka” in Reda Pieleszew not only organise riding lessons, but also sledging cavalcades, sports training, outdoor events, and hipotherapy. There is also a hotel service for horses.
