The wealth of our district is nature. In addition to the stretch of Baltic beaches, where time flows peacefully, because there are no resorts besieged by tourists, our treasure is also lakes, forests, space. We encourage you to wander off the beaten paths, discover the beauty of peripheral places, away from civilization. We have planty of places that can be a real surprise.
In the gorges
Do you know that we have a quite high hill? It rises 221 m a.s.l. and is close to the “Paraszyńskie Wąwozy” (Paraszynskie Gorges) forest reserve. Climbing it, it is hard to believe that we are not in the foothill area, but about 20 km southwest of Wejherowo, close to Strzebielin and Paraszyn. If you want to gain knowledge about this place, go to the educational path “Around the Reserve” (4 km long loop), where there are boards with information on this reserve.
At slow speed
It is worth looking for unobvious places, outside the mainstream tourist traffic. We are glad that in the 21st century, when the world is rushing, we have our refuges, where silence, peace and harmony await us. What more could you expect?
